questo di solito capita quando cambiano i permessi della dir dei files
temporanei;
però amule si dovrebbe aprire, con nessun files in scarico;

Provato a cancellare la dir .aMule nella directory /home/utente/ ?
In alternativa, se hai dei settaggli che non vuoi perdere, rinominala..
